The Tim Fairfax Family Foundation (TFFF) can only support entities that are endorsed by the Australian Tax Office as charitable Item 1 Deductible Gift Recipients (DGRs).
Funding Enquiries $50,000 and greater
TFFF only considers funding enquiries for amounts $50,000 or greater for work in rural, regional and remote communities of Queensland and the Northern Territory. See below for further information regarding our enquiry and application process.
Funding Enquiries $20,000 to $50,000
If your enquiry is for an amount between $20,000 and $50,000 and is for work based in Queensland that aligns with the TFFF Community or Education theme, you are encouraged to consider your potential alignment with the Sydney-based Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation Thriving People and Places funding area.
Submitting a Funding Enquiry
Please be mindful that the process from enquiry to application and outcome, if your enquiry is progressed, can take up to three to six months.
Before submitting an enquiry we encourage all organisations to review the TFFF Guidelines to ascertain your alignment with TFFF’s funding priorities and contact the TFFF on (07) 3001 4404 to discuss your enquiry with a staff member.
Applications to TFFF are by invitation only and the process is as follows:
- Review the TFFF Guidelines to ascertain your eligibility and alignment with our funding priorities.
- Complete and submit an enquiry via the Enquire Now link below.
- Each enquiry is assessed by TFFF staff for eligibility and alignment. We endeavour to respond to you within 10 working days.
- Only those enquiries deemed eligible and aligned will be invited to submit a full application for consideration in a specific funding round.
