TFFF announces new CEO from January 2021
The Tim Fairfax Family Foundation (TFFF) Board of Trustees have announced the appointment of Neal Harvey as our new CEO. Neal has been a Program Manager with the Sidney Myer Fund (SMF) and The Myer Foundation (TMF) since 2013, where he has played a pivotal role in the Australian philanthropic and arts sector.
Neal’s achievements at SMF/TMF include helping to secure tax-free status for the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships, bringing to fruition A New Approach (Australia’s first think tank dedicated to arts and culture), and creating the National Assistance Program for the Arts during the COVID-19 emergency.
Neal has a First-Class Honours BA and a PhD from the University of Queensland and an MBA from University of Melbourne/Melbourne Business School. After many years in Melbourne, this appointment will see Neal return to his home state, where he will lead TFFF in its ongoing mission to increase opportunities for people in rural, regional and remote Queensland and the Northern Territory.
All at TFFF are delighted to welcome Neal and look forward to working with him when he takes up his position in January 2021.
